Simone Hilbring_{Managing Director, Cologne}

Simone Sofia Hilbring is a Managing Director at INVERTO in our Cologne office. She studied in the Netherlands and Canada and graduated from Maastricht University with a degree in International Business. She has extensive experience in cost improvement programs, supply chain and operating model transformations as well as strategy development.

Expertise & Practice Areas

Simone is a core member of the consumer practice area and head node of INVERTO’s Retail sector. Since joining INVERTO in 2013 she has focused her client work on the retail and consumer goods industry and worked with clients across Europe, the Nordics and the globe. Her engagements focus on bigger transformations merely in contexts of accelerated growth or turn arounds of companies, typically with a strong focus on P&L effective commercial optimizations and the design as well as establishment of the respective underlying target operating model. Simone has profound international experience in category cost improvements, private label sourcing, assortment optimization and target operating models.

She leads the program Women@INVERTO (WIN) and focuses in her work together with her team on means of attracting as well as retaining females in the workplace and creating a progressive environment for female talents to thrive in their careers.

Personal life

Simone lives in Cologne. In her private life Simone and her family share the passion of breeding, owning and selling race horses internationally in the horse racing sport. She likes to attend racing days with her family, enjoys being active outside of the house by being in nature for long hikes, going running and working out or going for a horseback ride herself.

Two new Managing Directors at INVERTO

INVERTO, the Boston Consulting Group subsidiary specializing in procurement and supply chain management, continues to grow and has promoted two new Managing Directors. Simone Sofia Hilbring and Tobias Antefelt, who were both previously Principals at INVERTO, will now strengthen the management team in Cologne and Stockholm respectively.
