Philipp Mall is the new Managing Director at INVERTO

The new Managing Director is an expert in machine and plant construction as well as the process industry

Cologne, July 7, 2020. The appointment of Philipp Mall as Managing Director at INVERTO — the consultancy specializing in procurement and supply chain management,  part of the Boston Consulting Group (BCG) — takes their management team to 14 members. Mall is an expert in machine construction, procurement transformation, and digitization. He is based in the INVERTO office in Cologne, one of the company’s seven locations.

Philipp Mall studied at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, graduating as a qualified industrial engineer. The 36-year-old joined INVERTO in 2010 as a consultant in Cologne and was formerly Principal and Head of the Competence Center for Procurement Management. Mall supports leading companies in machine and plant construction and from the process industry with their procurement

by implementing sustainable procurement concepts and comprehensive cost optimization programs. He also specializes in strategic product group management and make-or-buy strategies, and advises businesses on procurement digitization and proactive risk management.

In addition, Mall is responsible for the risk management study compiled by INVERTO each year after surveying decision-makers about measures to counter procurement risks.
