Stefan Benett is Managing Director of INVERTO’s Munich office. After qualifying as an industrial engineer and completing a doctorate in St. Gallen, he gained international experience of around 50 purchasing programs in 25 countries in his roles as a procurement expert at the Boston Consulting Group and head of the procurement excellence centre of a global management consultancy firm. He mainly advises manufacturing companies in the mechanical engineering, plant construction and process industries on digitalisation strategies in procurement, among other things.

Stefan Benett has over 20 years’ consulting experience in the fields of procurement and operational excellence. As an expert in procurement transformation, he develops future-oriented procurement strategies for manufacturing companies in the mechanical engineering, plant construction, process and raw materials industries as well as the energy and high-tech sectors. As Managing Director he is responsible for the Practice Area Energy.

Personal life

Stefan Benett lives with his family near Munich. Stefan Benett’s interests include innovation issues and travel. He relaxes at weekends by spending time with his wife and daughter and going running.
