INVERTO Consultancy Expands Management Team and Opens New Office in Stockholm

Procurement and supply chain management specialist experiences strong growth

Cologne, January 16, 2019. INVERTO, a subsidiary of the Boston Consulting Group, continues to expand with a new office in Stockholm. The specialist procurement and supply chain management consultancy now works from seven locations in Europe and Asia and employs over 180 staff. Marcus Schwarz, head of the Copenhagen office, has been appointed Managing Director, and Halûk Sagol, head of the Indirect Spend Competence Center, has been named Associate Director.

Marcus Schwarz began his career at INVERTO in 2002 as a consultant. Starting out as a business graduate, he specialized in advising companies in retail and the consumer goods industry. The 45-year-old has headed up Inverto’s Copenhagen office for the last year, and will now also be responsible for the new Stockholm office. Schwarz is the consultancy’s tenth Managing Director.

Halûk Sagol was Marketing Director of a well-known retail group before he joined INVERTO as a principal in 2010. A graduate of St. Galler Business School, he predominantly supports media and retail customers with procurement of IT, digital, and marketing services, as well as other so-called indirect requirements such as fleet management, logistics, and waste disposal. As Associate Director, Sagol will continue to be responsible for the Indirect Spend Competence Center, broadening the INVERTO team’s expertise even further.

With the new Swedish office, INVERTO is expanding its range of services for Scandinavian customers. The company also intends to grow in its other markets outside of Scandinavia and has plans for extensive recruitment at every Location.
