Everyday job as consultant
Interns are part of a diverse team
During your consulting internship, you will generally be actively involved on site with one of our clients. This means that you can experience and help to shape a real project. Most of our projects are organised so that our consultants are on site with the client from Monday until Thursday. As an intern, you are part of our daily project work, taking you behind the scenes of large corporations and companies. Like all of our consultants, you will spend Fridays in the office at the location of your choice. These ‘office days’ are very important to us, as they enable you to have discussions across project teams.
The content of our internships varies from project to project – the only thing they have in common is diversity. For example, you could be working with your team to carry out a potential analysis of the current supply chain of an online retailer, or carrying out a tender with 200 potential suppliers for cardboard boxes to send highly sensitive machines on behalf of a machine and plant engineering client. Alternatively, you could be preparing supplier assessments for a leading consumer goods manufacturer, which will determine their terms and conditions for the whole of the next year. There is so much to do and you will be right in the middle of everything.
The size of your project team will vary depending on the project scope. The average is 4-7 employees, including a project manager and other consultants. This brings together different characters with diverse experience – the ideal conditions for successful teamwork.
